If you share this computer with your abuser, please know that he can track your activities on it. If you are afraid of him, please use a safe computer (a friends, one from the public library).
Please be careful: corresponding by email does not ensure confidentiality.
Also, please be aware that whenever you use a computer, "cookies" are created. Cookies are cryptic bookmarks that form a sort of link, or a calling card, on your computer; they are formed when you visit Web sites which use them (most do) in order that the can more easily allow you access next time (by loading easier, remembering you, etc.). Cookies are not dangerous to your computer but they can leave a trail of evidence showing websites you have been on. When you visit a website on domestic violence, a cookie is created as a result of that visit; by checking your history, etc., your abuser can easily trace your trail in order to discover where you've been.
Please be careful.

I Shall Be Glad
If I can put new hope within the heart
Of one who has lost hope,
If I can help a brother up
Some difficult long slope
That seems too steep for tired feet to go,
If I can help him climb
Into the light upon the hill's far crest,
I shall begrudge no time
Or strength that I spend, for well I know
How great may be his need.
If I can help through any darkened hour,
I shall be glad indeed.
For I recall how often I have been
Distressed, distraught, dismayed,
And hands have reached to help, and voices called
That kept me unafraid.
If I can share this help that I have had,
God knows I shall be glad.by Grace Noll Crowell

Domestic Abuse Hotline
1-800-799-SAFE (7233)To my sisters
Let me come in where you are weeping, friend,
And let me take your hand.
I, who have known a sorrow such as yours,
Can understand.
Let me come in – I would be very still
Beside you in your grief.
I would not bid you cease your weeping, friend,
Tears bring relief.
Let me come in – I would only breathe a prayer,
And hold your hand,
For I have known a sorrow such as yours,
And understand.by Grace Noll Crowell
Real Men:
"The love of a brother for a sister, especially a spiritual sister, is not just some official emotion, "I love you." Real love, real manhood says, "No one is going to hurt this woman! Especially me."~Ron HutchcraftArchives

Anna, need to know if you have heard or dealt with the National Alliance for Family Court Justice. I am desperate and my children may be in danger from the courts. Thank you. Please pray for us.
